I went to São Paulo last week to refer all the documentation needed to obtain my US visa (and thank God I got it). The city is overwhelmingly huge and being there was kind of a challenge once I was alone and had never been there before. Surprinsingly, I could find my way around 'cause people were very friendly and always willing to help me out. I was surprised also by the cleanliness and organization of the streets and parks. Ibirapuera park is awesome and the restaurants are just as good as in RS but more expensive. Apart from the annoying traffic jams and the air pollution, São Paulo deserves thumbs up.
