INCENTIVE
Atenção com o uso de "incentive"!
Both, the English and the Portuguese languages have the word
"incentive". It has the same meaning when it's a noun. But things change with verbs. There is no "to incentivate" (as some Brazilians imagine). "Incentivar" exists in Portuguese only. The correct in English is "to encourage".

Eg. Modern companies
encourage (v.) their consumers to keep buying their products or services, by offering some incentives (n.) like Loyalty Card Schemes or Frequent Flyer Plans
.
