It might be another effort to set the beginning of a long lasting relationship (humans & robots). Who knows where it may end up?

I really liked the BMW at the beginning of this video. Just kidding!
My dream is that one day there are robots to clean the house.

Most people can think this robot do no great thing. And that it's a little stupid because it had to ask 38 times to reach the landmark (maybe it realy is - hehe!). But each step foreward cientists give with these technologies, the robots becomes more similar to us.
How long will it take for world be like fiction of the movie "I Robot" for example?

The Artificial Intelligence is the big challenge of robotics nowadays...but it's totaly feasible. The robot did well in accomplishing its goal...I think that no one of us would do better to find the landmark...first of all because we don't speak German :-)

Did you see the related videos? There's a robot that plays yo-yo!!!

This is an important project to get robot closer to us. We don't know if in same years we'll not be living and working with them.

Folks
I really appreciate everyone of your comments.
My prediction is that in a few decades robots and computers will be sharing the decision of very important things in our lives in a far larger scale than what they do today.

That robot has a great work of engineering, because it is equipped with many sensors (image processing, distance sensor) that allow this sofsticated interation with humans.
